Dear friends,
We have much to be thankful for.  First the Lord is sending us new members for our church planting team.  Corrie and Bethamy Anderson have been appointed to our field by Biblical Ministries Worldwide.  As soon as they raise their support they will be able to come and  help us. You may remember that they helped us out two summers.  Be praying for them. They will be coming to our field conference in November.  We urgently need them to help us with the youth and Christian education as well as evangelism and discipleship.

We really enjoyed the visit of the youth group from Michigan.  They were a big help in our day camp.

Monica began studying the Bible with us 4 years ago. Last week she came to one of our cell groups for the first time.  That was really encouraging to us as she gave a good testimony of what God is doing in her life.  It also taught us to have patience.  Be praying for her and for the salvation of her husband Roman and their three children.

Later today I am going to start going door to door in the same area where we started making contacts 5 years ago when we first arrived in Guadalajara. We are going to offer free Bible studies to those that are interested. Be praying that God would touch the hearts of many and they would be interested in knowing God's Word.

Thank you for praying for César who has cirrhosis of the liver.  He continues to have good days and bad days but last week he had all good days!

We need you to keep praying for leaders for the cell groups. We are thankful that Carlos has had Sundays off lately, that is a big help.  We need others that can help as well.  Also continue praying that the believers would be able to reach their family members and other contacts for Christ.

The Larry Baird family has just moved from Chihuahua to Zacatecas to start a church there. Zacatecas is about 5 hours from here and is also a very needy area for the gospel with less than 2% professing believers.  Be praying for them as they adjust to this new area and begin making evangelistic contacts. The Elworths are in language school in Costa Rica and will be joining the Bairds in Zactecas next year.
