Greetings and blessings from Guadalajara,
A lot has happened this past month for which we praise the Lord.
Jonathan T. has been helping us especially with the youth. We had a
youth group from a church in PA that helped us with our day camp last
week. We limited the enrollment to 45. Most of those that attended are
from non Christian homes. We are thankful for the opportunity we had to
sow the seed of the gospel with these children.
We also had a day camp for teens. We limited it to 20 and most of them
also came from non Christian homes. Be praying for their salvation and
that we can reach their families.
In July we celebrated our 4th anniversary as a church. As we start our
5th year we are emphasizing prayer and fasting for this next month . We
are encouraging all of the believers to take time at least one day each
week for special prayer for our needs as a congregation.
We invite you
to join us in prayer for these needs. Here are some of them.
1. A revival among us so that we wouldn't be luke warm. Some of the
families have been gradually drifting away from their first love for
Christ. This request is the most important because if it is answered
most of the other requests will follow suit.
2. For a spirit of unity and love in our church.
3. For each believer to have a good testimony and for the salvation of
their friends and familyi members.
4. For the spíritual growth of the children and youth of the church as
well as to be able to reach out to other young people.
5. For the 5 ladies in the church that are supporting and raising their
families without the help of a husband. Pray for their needs and for the
needs of their children.
In July Marco and Jenni Gudiño became missionary appointees to Mexico.
Corrie and Bethamy Anderson are no in language school and plan on being
here in February 2009. We are so thankful for these new workers that God
is providing for this needy area.
Dick has also been making several new evangelistic contacts. Pray for
the salvation of these contacts.
Thanks for your prayers and help on our behalf and on behalf of the
church here!.
Dick and Angie Ludy
